Complete refurbishment of a 200m2 art gallery.
The client had one important demand : only right angled wall, even if it might mean losing space.
After an important demolition phase, during which a half level was removed in order to gain height beneath the ceiling, we doubled all of the walls with placo habito - very resistant plasterboard.
The lines of the gallery are very refined and the walls are underlined with specially carved baseboards, giving the walls a floating effect.
We have put beautiful Versailles parquet tiles, and in the entrance, bespoke terrazzo.
On of the major complexities of this project was the creation of a metal staircase, as the dedicated space was very small, which left very little possibilities.
On the ceiling, we put ERCO light rails, with long LED tiles for a daylight effect.
